Smart Energy USA's Lies Keep Getting Bigger and So Do The Lawsuits

The more you research the great Smart Energy Solar, the more lies you uncovered.
Kort Potter and Barnanby Bakerintentionally withheld information from investors that Smart Energy USA had been sued by the Federal Trade Commission in the matter entitled Federal Trade Commission v. Clear Choice Solar, USA (USDC, Central District of California). In that suit, it was contended that no scientific data or studies demonstrated the panels used were made in the USA. In fact, it was alleged that the panels were manufactured in the Philippines.

There is a definite pattern here. Clear Choice Solar aka Smart Energy USA, aka, Smart Energy Solar has had more than a few lawsuits filed against them. They have also promised to show proof of, and studies related, to their solar panels and failed to do so.

The following constitutes a list of many of the representations, which were made by the owner of Clear Choice Solar, aka, Smart Energy Usa, Smart Energy Solar, that at the time they made them, they knew them to be false. This is not intended to be all-exhaustive and the Plaintiffs continue to investigate and compile the list of concealments and misrepresentations he made, which appear to be false, including but not limited to:

• A production guarantee.
• That they are a volume dealer for Sun Run.
• That your home is brought up to building, electric and fire code at no cost to the home owner.
• They created a business (SMART ENERGY USE) that has 40-60 sales reps.
• That prospective customers get a free Kindle Fire.
• That install will be completed within 4-6 weeks.
• That Baker and Potter would help close sales for sales reps (not steal their commissions).

Through research done both on the message boards and for the article, all of these statements point to Smart Energy USA, and Kort Potter / Barnaby Baker being guilty as charged.

Smart Energy Solar Inc., being investigated by the FBI?

This past Friday, the FBI began investigating Barnaby Baker and Kort Potter along with past employees of Clear Choice Solar for conspiring fraudulently sell faulty solar systems, under a new name, Smart Energy USA and Smart Energy Solar, Later in the article, sources will reveal that the SEC also launched and investigation citing fraud by Baker and Potter. So who’s behind this scheme? 

Kort Potter and Barnaby Baker who poorly trains a sales staff of order takers and forces the sales rep to call Potter and Baker who tell them exactly how to lie and manipulate innocent home owners. 
Kort Potter and Barnaby Baker had so many complaints and lawsuits filed against Clear Choice Solar that they had to change the name of the company to Smart Energy Solar move its location to 6260 River Crest, Unit C & D Riverside, CA 92507.

According to Fox News, Meade hired Michael Roberts, of Rexxfield; a so-called "internet bounty hunter," to clean up Progenex's online reputation.
Therefore, Progenex, although unnamed in the latest Fox News article, is the "California-based company" being accused of illegal activity along with Michael Roberts and Rexxfield. Roberts responded to the Fox article on the Rexxfield blog, stating: "We categorically deny the assertions made by the article’s author regarding the use of illegal and/or unethical means in combating attacks against the reputations of our clients." He followed this with a series of unfounded and speculative attacks on the journalist who wrote the piece in question, further damaging Roberts' own credibility in the matter.

• Clear Choice Solar and Smart Energy Solar Under Criminal Investigation 

But it doesn’t end there. Past employees tells us that these executives from Fountain Valley and Temecula didn’t defraud people with false promises,  they actually went so far as to defraud not only employees of pay but equally consumers by selling them faulty solar panels and inverters and misleading consumers with knowingly false "production guarantees."

Kort Potter, the man who runs the show at Smart Energy USA, has a record of sexual assault which will detail in a future article.

Why does Potter and Baker need to remain at arm’s length when it comes to controlling what goes on at Smart Energy Solar and Clear Choice Solar?  Perhaps it’s because their alleged to be convicted felon who has been awaiting sentencing for their involvement in a $20 million dollar scheme, busted by the FBI. Prior to their financial crimes, Potter enjoys his time at Disney Land while ironically being charged by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.

Since then, he has become adept at setting up elaborate corporate structures that keep his name off official documents:

• Potter and Baker laundering money from selling drugs in Scottsdale, Arizona.

What happened, according to the victims, who lost a lot of money and never their solar installed or electric bills reduced?

• Barnaby Baker bragging how his solar fraud with Potter has brought him wealth!

Later, in statements from past employees they say how Baker rode sales people in order to pay for his new Sugar Baby taking he and Potters fraud to a new level.

That statement is particularly noteworthy, as Paul Michael G is citing multiple other victims as being harmed by the Clear Choice Solar and Smart Energy Solar Inc, scam.

• Smart Energy Solar continues the alleged criminal activities of Clear Choice Solar.

At the time of this writing, there is an ongoing FBI investigation into the matter, although the FBI has declined to comment - however, the latest body count indicates that two of Clear Choice Solar employees are currently in prison, and another of their employees currently awaiting sentencing - What happens next is anyone's guess. In the meantime, an entire community is subject to a Solar Fraud marketed by the same people. The question for us is, can we trust the Solar by Potter and Baker.
